We’re calling on digital creators, AI storytellers, and next-gen filmmakers from around the world to submit their most addictive, made-for-online, vertical short-form series.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking groundbreaking AI-generated short-form series concepts optimized for dynamic mobile consumption. Your submission should exemplify innovative AI creativity and a deep understanding of digital-first content creation.

 

Series Guideline:

​

  • Episodes: A complete first season of 40 to 60 episodes

  • Episode Runtime: Each episode must be 1–2 minutes in length

  • Aspect Ratio: Strictly 9:16 Vertical for mobile optimization

  • Language: English preferred (other languages are welcome if strongly justified and culturally relevant)

  • Genre: Completely open – bring us your best AI comedy, AI horror, AI action, AI drama, AI animation, AI experimental series... anything that builds an addictive narrative and hooks viewers!

What to Submit

To be considered for the LifeArt AI Short Content Award, here's what you need to submit:​

  1. 3 AI-Generated Pilot Episodes (1–2 minutes each): Provide video files showcasing your AI's capabilities in video, audio, scriptwriting, and voiceover. You can use human editing and curation to polish them. These pilots should clearly convey your series' unique tone, pacing, and visual style.

  2. Scripts for 10  Episodes: These should demonstrate clear story progression and consistent character development.

  3. Series Pitch Deck (1-5 pages PDF): Your pitch deck needs to include:

    • Title

    • One-liner

    • Overview

    • Main characters

    • Tone/Genre

    • Estimated budget

    • Concise episode-by-episode loglines for Season 1

  • Addictiveness: Does each AI short episode compel viewers to immediately watch the next?

  • Narrative Clarity: Even within 1-2 minutes, does your story land emotionally and narratively, leaving a lasting impression?

  • AI Creativity: Is your content truly and demonstrably fully AI-generated across all production elements (video, audio, scriptwriting, voiceover)?

  • Platform Awareness: Is your series optimally designed for bingeable, shareable, made-for-mobile storytelling on contemporary digital platforms?

    No specific AI tools or platforms are required. We accept work created using any legitimate AI platform or tool, including but not limited to generative models (like GANs or LLMs), AI-assisted editing software, and voice synthesis technologies. The key requirement is that AI plays a creative or technical role in the outcome.
  • Do I need previous festival experience to participate?
    No prior festival experience is required. We welcome first-time creators, independent artists, and emerging technologists alongside established professionals exploring AI in creative work.
  • Is the LifeArt Festival limited to the United States only?
    No. LifeArt is a truly global festival, with events and partners in the U.S., India, Greece, Europe, and other international cities including New York, Athens, Miami, and New Delhi. Your work will gain international exposure and distribution opportunities.
  • What types of projects are eligible for submission?
    You may submit: AI-generated short films or feature films, AI-powered digital art or visual design, AI-assisted commercial videos or music videos, AI-written scripts or stories, AI-enhanced post-production/VFX work, social media content driven by AI innovation, and humanitarian or cultural content exploring AI’s societal impact.
